Surrendering to Jesus includes seeking the Lord's Guidance every day

Someone once said that the enemy of the best is the good. As a Christ follower there are many good things that we can be doing, but are they God's things?

Being fully surrendered to Christ means being fully surrendered to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit can speak to us through God's Word, through the counsel of brothers and sisters in Christ, and even through life's day to day events at times.

The key is to listen.

6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. - Philippians 4:6-7
